With the Swine Flu making its rounds and the usual cold that seems to come with the season it is even more important to make sure that you stay healthy this winter.
As a few of our busy staff are having the cold or are just recovering from it, the rest of us try not to catch it. This is certainly one thing that we do not want to share!
So, I was reading up on some suggestions on how to boost my immune system. Things that were mentioned included cutting sugar and processed foods out of the daily diet, taking an Omega-3 supplement, getting regular exercise , getting plenty of good quality sleep and the most important thing: washing your hands, often. Most of these tips are easily followed while others are not so easy to achieve. However, I think the most important thing is to act as soon as you feel the fist signs of a cold coming on. And of course, stay positive!
